Mission to free 20 abducted girls Military pounds Boko Haram’s cells

Konduga and environs in Borno State have come under aerial attack from the military in the latest round of operation to flush out Boko Haram insurgents from the area. The Defence Headquarters deployed more jets and troops to Konduga in the aftermath of Tuesday’s massacre of about 51 residents of the town by the terrorists.Some other sources said as many as 70 people may have been killed. 20 girls were abducted during the insurgency. The troops were ordered to liberate the abducted women immediately. The United States yesterday asked the Federal Government to investigate the Konduga killings and ensure the safe return of the abductees to their families.

How Pastor, Doctor Robbed Banks

A medical practitioner, Dr Tajudeen (surname withheld)  and Pastor Isaiah (surname withheld) have confessed about how they robbed banks in the last few months  before they were arrested by Operatives of the Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Lagos State Police Command, southwest Nigeria. Dr Tajudeen, Pastor Isaiah and one musician were paraded Thursday in Lagos by the police after their arrest.

Olu Maintain has been revealed to be married for some time now to a white lady, the wedding obviously didn't take place in Nigeria because the public are just coming to terms with this. Reports are saying he wanted to keep his marriage a secret but the photos were leaked to Erave and at the moment, we are not sure whether both couple will be coming to Nigeria to stay or not. Tiger Woods flourishes in Dubai Desert Classic

Tiger Woods finished up with a final round 71 in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday, February 2, to complete his worst start to a season since he turned pro in 1997. In 18 seasons, the American had always mustered at least a top 20 finish from his first two events. In nine of those years, he managed a win. This campaign, he followed up his failure to play all four rounds at Torrey Pines last week with a tied 41st finish at the Emirates. “I think this is the worst I have ever seen Woods technically,” opined respected swing coach and Sky Sports analyst, Ewen Murray. Woods took heart from three successive birdies to finish his week and fact hit a lot more fairways than during his first three rounds. “I drove the ball great today,” insisted the 38-year-old. “My iron game was not as sharp as I would have liked while on the greens I had seven lip-outs.” The golf might be off the rails right now but the gravy train is moving as smoothly as ever.
